Introduction: Bladder cancer is the fourth most common type of cancer in men, having an incidence of 3:1 compared to women. That way its incidence in the Brazilian population corresponds to 9 for every 100 thousand men, in contrast, in the European population there are 19 cases for every 100 thousand men. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out using the GLOBOCAN 2022 database, filtering by incidence and deaths of BC according to country, age group and sex of the year 2022. Results: The estimated number of new cases of Bladder Cancer in Italy in 2022 was 34.580. As for the number of deaths, 8.254 were estimated. Regarding the age of the patients, the age group with the highest incidence was that of those between 70 and 79, 14.306 (41,3%), followed by those over 80 years old, 10.162 (29,3%), 60-69, 7.463 (21,5%), 50-59, 2.409 (6,9%), 40-49, 186 (0,5%), 30-39, 26 (0,01%), and those aged 29 or under, 28 (0,08%). As for deaths by age group, we have: over 80 years old, 4.539 (54,9%), 70-79, 2.700 (32.7%), 60-69, 801 (9,7%), 50-59, 204 (2,4%) and 40-49, 10 (0,1%). Regarding the incidence and deaths by sex, men totaled 27.211 (78,6%) and 6.373 (77,2%), respectively. Brazil recorded an incidence of 17.028 new estimated cases. As for the number of deaths, 6.146 were estimated. The age group with the highest incidence was that of those aged between 70 and 79 years old, 5.168 (30,3%), followed by 60-69, 4.711 (27,6%), of those over 80 years old, 4.209 (24,7%), 50-59 years, 2.114 (12,4%), 40-49, 464 (2,7%), 30-39, 245 (1,4%), and those aged 29 or under, 117 (0,6%). As for mortality, the age group most affected was that of those over 80 years old, with 2.429 (39,5%), followed by those aged between 70 and 79 years, 1.873 (30,4%), 60-69, 1.238 (20,8%), 50-59, 446 (7,2%), 40-49, 119 (1,9%), 30-39, 31 (0,5%), and of those aged 29 or under,10 (0,16%). As for the incidence and deaths by sex, males totaled 12.090 (71%) and 4.389 (71.4%), respectively. Conclusion: The incidence and mortality of BC was 50% and 25,5% higher in Italy compared to Brazil. The number of new cases represented 0.06% of the Italy population and 0.008% of the Brazilian population. The age group most affected in Italy and Brazil was those between 70 and 79 years old, but the incidence of the Italy population is higher (63,8%). Mortality was higher in those over 80 years in both countries, as well as, males had both a higher incidence and deaths.
