Dr Daniel Castellano is a Medical Oncologist at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre (Madrid) and Assistant Professor of Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of GU tumors such as renal, bladder, prostate and testicular cancer. He currently is a Head of the GU Oncology Unit, and HDCT + BMT germ cell program. My research is focused on the development of new drugs in GU tumors, and Principal investigator of more than 100 clinical trials (phase I, II and III trials). He has published more than 100 peer-review articles in relevant and recognized medical scientific journals. He has received several grants supported by different national and international organizations. Co-PI of Biomarker Prostate Cancer Research Group ( with Co-PI Dr Enrique Gonzalez-Billalabeitia) at “I +12 Research Institute”. Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre. Dr Castellano is member of a different International (ASCO, AACR, ESMO, STIC) and National Scientific organizations.
